The South Lamar Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental in beautifying and revitalizing Millport and Kennedy, AL. From hosting events to bring awareness to our local small businesses to offering entertaining events for families, the Chamber is dedicated to serving the members of our community.

We want you to feel welcome and to love our small towns as much as we do.

Downtown Revitalization

We are currently working on revitalizing the downtown business areas of Millport and Kennedy with the help of the Bovay Foundation and Tombigbee RC&D. Plans are in the works to restore building exteriors, put in new lighting, and feature murals painted by local artists.

Community Events

Stallion Street Fair: Every November in downtown Millport.
3 Creek Fest: Held at the Millport Walking Track of Millport's Town Hall.

Proceeds from our events help fund our Senior Scholarship awarded to a senior at South Lamar High School, assist Halo's with their 4th of July Firework Show, and support South Lamar Athletics.
